Ministries - Praise Generation

Pastors Mark and Gina Groover are the Music and Fine Arts Pastors for Calvary Christian Center. A desire to develop, empower and help champion the local church to reach their highest potential in Christ, through worship, is the foundation of their ministry. Pastor Mark and Gina’s hearts beat for people. With over 16 years of music ministry experience, they have a strong desire to minister, equip, and build a strong team around them. In addition to overseeing this department, the Groover's travel as guest ministers for various worship seminars, conferences, and services across the United States.


Music Department

- PrayzGeneration Choir - Ministers for Calvary’s Sunday services as well as for special services throughout the year. Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.

- PrayzGeneration Band - This anointed group of musicians ministers for all Calvary services and travels to various ministry opportunities with Pastor Raley as well as Pastor Mark and Gina. Audition required.

- PrayzGeneration Frontline - Ministers for all Calvary services and travels to minister with Pastor Raley and Pastor Mark and Gina as well. Audition & PrayzGeneration Choir membership required.

Arts Department

-H.Y.P.E. (Helping Youth Prepare for Eternity) Dancers: Lead by Marvin Eans, this group joins PrayzGeneration in leading worship on Sundays, as well as providing special dance and drama presentations for services and special events. Auditions required.

-Dancers With A Purpose: Lead by Michelle Watson, this group provides special dance presentations for services and special events. Auditions required; membership is currently limited to females only.

Drama & dance opportunities are also given throughout the year to assist the Music & Arts Department at special services and events throughout the year (such as Calvary’s annual Easter celebration, “Alive”).
