A Letter from the Director...

Summer is here! I am so excited about all of the activities we have planned for our friends this summer. Water Day,Wheels Day, Music and Movement, Gym Days and Movie Days (on the big screen!) are just a few of the things we have going on. Our themes are really great this year, too and include "Fiesta Fun", "Let's Go Camping", "Christmas Joy" and Vacation Bible School - just to name a few! We will stay busy!

I am also already looking toward the new school year. There is always painting and sprucing up to be done in anticipation of another wonderful year. Re - enrollment is in full swing now. We are at capacity for 2010 - 2011 in our Toddler, K - 2 and VPK classes... if you have been waiting to re - enroll, don't delay! Registration is on a first - come, first - serve basis now. I hope you will be joining us! Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Check out our new Toddler Playground! We have almost finished a major makeover on our one year old playground. Stop by to see it (Behind the #500's). It looks great!

As always, our staff feels blessed to be given the opportunity to speak into your child's life and we continue to pray for you. We are excited about all that God is doing in little hearts here at our preschool. It's incredible to think that 2009 has come and gone and we are preparing for the next school year already! Where does the time go? Please know that my door is always open to you. If you have any questions or concerns, I would be happy to spend some time talking with you.

Our Mission Statement...

We, at Calvary Children's Center, believe that children are a blessing to their parents and to the communities in which they live.

Our qualified Staff is dedicated to helping parents "train up a child in the way he should go" and strives to provide a safe and loving environment in which each child's creativity and individuality can be fostered.

With these goals in mind, we are committed to preparing the children in our care academically, socially and spiritually, and to reflect God's love and grace in all that we do each day.

Curriculum...

Calvary Children's Center employs an integrated curriculum. Our staff facilitates both teacher directed curriculum and the Creative Curriculum, which is child directed, in order to give all types of learners the best opportunities possible. Our classes also follow a Bible curriculum that introduces a new Bible truth each week, even in our youngest classes, and prayer is an integral part of our day.

VPK Readiness Rate... 

We recently received our VPK Readiness Rate for 2008 - 2009. We score a 182 out of a possible 200! Great job VPK Staff!  

More Information...

Calvary Children's Center is accredited by the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools and has been awarded the Gold Seal of Quality Care by the Department of Children and Families. Our facility accepts children ages 1 - 5. Enrollment for the 2010 - 2011 school year has begun, and we currently have openings in our K - 3 classes. All other age groups have a waiting list.
